Cheerio Trout Fishing Lodge (sleeps from 28 - 33) offers a self catering escape in the beautiful Cheerio Valley close to Haenertsburg, in the Magoebaskloof area, between Polokwane and Tzaneen and is an excellent stop over to the Kruger National Park and other game parks. (Sleeps from 28 - 33 guests). There are 8 self catering accommodation options, including 2-sleeper, 4-sleeper and 6-sleeper self catering cottages. Trout fishing is offered in three dams on the property and at an owned property on the Letaba River. Fishing can also be arranged in the waters of the local Trout Fishing Association. Forest, riverside and garden walks can be undertaken from the property and hiking, mountain bike, horse and 4x4 trails are in close proximity. Our property on the Letaba River provides both adventure seekers and nature lovers with a host of outdoor activities. There is quad biking, white water tubing, kloofing (canyoning), abseiling, mountain biking, birding, hiking, fishing and paintball. There is a campsite for those who would like to be on site. In addition to the activities at Cheerio, you may want to try our associate's adventure activities. They offer a spectacular canopy tour over the magnificent waterfalls and gorges of the Letaba River, tubing, abseiling, quad biking, paintball, teambuilding etc in the Magoebaskloof area.

Glenogle Farm offers 2 self catering cottages in the mountainous area of Magoebaskloof in the Limpopo province. (Sleeps 4 and sleeps 2). Situated between Haenertsburg and Tzaneen, hidden amongst the pine plantations in the beautiful mountainous area of Magoebaskloof this picturesque farm on a privately-owned estate boasts horses, a magnificent dam stocked with trout as well as 2 Luxury self catering units, The Stables and The Loft. The Stables is a luxury, double-storey self catering guest house which is intimately positioned between the horse stables and paddock. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and comfortably sleeps 4 persons. It is not suitable for children under the age of 6. The Stables has a cosy country atmosphere which has been created using a combination of warm textured fabrics and personally collected antiques, some with a history from the area. The Loft is an exclusive romantic hideaway, perfect for honeymooners or those celebrating an anniversary or special occasion. It is a luxuriously appointed suite hidden in the pine forest overlooking the dam. Please note that children cannot be accommodated in this unit. Close by: 65km from Polokwane, 35km from Tzaneen, 8km from Haenertsburg, 2km from Stanford Lake College. To do in the area: The Magoebaskloof canopy tour, Magoebaskloof Adventures offer various adventure activities, Birding at Kurisa Moya, Wegraakbosch organic cheese farm, Ebenezer Dam cruises to mention only a few. Restaurants: The Pot and Plow and The Magoebaskloof Hotel are both less than 2km away. Haenertsburg has a few cosy restaurants and coffee shops on offer. These include, The Iron Crown Pub and Grill, The Red Plate, Lekwaar and Minki's coffee shop.

Zwakala River Retreat is situated on a privately owned farm in the beautiful Magoebaskloof Mountains, just north of Haenertsburg in the Limpopo Province. Our array of accommodation includes cosy self catering cottages, a guest house and a private camp site located next to a tranquil river in the mountains. We also have a charming old fashioned farm venue ideal for weddings and other creative gatherings. Zwakala River Retreat is a perfect place to chill and get away from the stress of city life. Our self catering accommodation is simply beautiful and in some of the accommodation we have chosen not to have electricity. Instead we believe that the simplicity of candle light and lamps, steaming hot water from a donkey boiler and a 'lekka' fire make for romance, talking, dreaming and togetherness. For those of you who need electricity, our newly renovated Farm House and Barn House are connected. We are very privileged to live on this little piece of Africa and would like to share with you a slower pace of life. Come and meet our three horses, six dogs, flock of sheep, when they are home, our three children and usually some more friends. Things to do on the farm include: Swimming in the river. Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
